Being a Typical Lahori has its advantages and disadvantages. Its up to you to decide which one it is.
- We are the population of 10 mill. approx [1772 sq. km].
- We are happy in every circumstance.
- We never live without friends around; else it’s a cabin fever.
- Friends are always there in streets to hang around with you, and you never know when your uncle complaining your dad about your doings.
- We commonly hangout on Main boulevard, Food streets, Taxali gate, Lakshami chowk, Mall road, Moon Market, Ichchra, Fortress, Badami Bagh, Islam Pura, Barkat Market, Hall Road etc.. Read more…

Bioshock 2 – A little Startup

Alright, I am playing as a big daddy… unknown relative of some Sofia LAMB who is now the controller of Rapture (stood against Ryan in elections or something etc).
What actually happened at the beginning shots; my big daddy was saving the little sister (Eleanor Lamb) from splicers and there came Lamb and BD (aka Big Daddy) shot himself using the pistol given by her majesty (Lamb Lady). The sister BD was saving actually is the daughter of the lady… Read more…
Mobile OS Wars – Invaded by Touch Screen Devices

Back in March last year I shared an article Mobile Os Wars: Symbian leads globally. According to recent Canalys press release 55% of cellphone are now touchscreen with apple having 33.1% followed by Nokia with 29.5% market share. Symbian still leads overall market with 47.2 % share but with only 4.8% growth last year. Currently Android has 4.73% market share but in 2009 7.7 million Android based handsets were sold and predictions are that by 2013 Android will be world’s No.2 mobile OS followed by Symbian.
Symfony 1.4 – Doctrine Timestampable Behaviour

Recently Symfony released their LTS 1.4 branch. Unlike previous versions Symfony 1.4 comes with Doctrine as default ORM. If you have worked with Doctrine’s you will be familiar with its Timestampable behavior.

Timestampable behavior automatically adds a created_at and updated_at column and automatically set the values when a record is inserted and updated. I mostly use Symfony Admin Generator to generate Backend. This behavior worked fined till Symfony 1.2, but in Symfony 1.3 / 1.4 for unknown reasons this behavior adds created_at and updated_at fields as required and their value must be filled during creation of new record in admin generator.

Google recently launched their Android phone named Nexus One. I’m sharing series of short films showing the story behind Nexus One. Most prominent features of this phone are 1Ghz processor, 512 Mb ram, 4GB Micro SD Card (Expandable to 32 GB), Digital compass, Accelerometer, 5 megapixels Camera with Flash, Multi-Touch capacitive touchscreen and unlike iPhone it can do Multitasking and is cheaper than Apple’s iPhone.
