Being a Typical Lahori (Citizen of Lahore)

Being a Typical Lahori has its advantages and disadvantages. Its up to you to decide which one it is.

1. We are the population of 10 mill. approx [1772 sq. km].
2. We are happy in every circumstance.
3. We never live without friends around; else it’s a cabin fever.
4. Friends are always there in streets to hang around with you, and you never know when your uncle complaining your dad about your doings.
5. We commonly hangout on Main boulevard, Food streets, Taxali gate, Lakshami chowk, Mall road, Moon Market, Ichchra, Fortress, Badami Bagh, Islam Pura, Barkat Market, Hall Road etc..
6. We Never Sleep, you never know when your friend’s gonna call you, at 2:30AM, 7AM, 12PM, 5PM, don’t know.
7. We never shut the food markets out, we can go out and eat whatever we want, let’s assume if you r willing to eat aloo keema at 4AM, u can get it within 1 KM. of your locality.
8. We are designed with no wakeup time, commonly; we get off beds at 1PM and then it’s time to do some Nashta. After 3PM, it’s now “Dopeher kaa Khana”. At 5PM and onwards, we start eating light food like Dahi bharay, Fruit chaat, gol gappay, shawarma, etc. u name it. After 8PM, we go out to eat fast/western food like subway, donald’s, shawarmay, pizza, chick menchaurian, chinese stuff/oriental stuff etc.. Now at 10PM, it’s time for “Raat kaa khana”, we do it with our families at home (the mom’s cooked haandi), and then we go out again with families to get some reunion.
9. We are damn honest by heart, you bet on it.
10. We never get disappointed; we always come up with something to get rid of the situation on hand and never prepare for the next.
11. We blame everything on Government.
12. Our Rikshaws make us active all the time.
13. We start fights on behalf of no reason, and then we hug back right after 3 minutes.
14. We love driving/riding everything Fast, starting from “khoti raihri [aka donkey car]“.
15. We make other people best friends and tell everything there is to know about us in a day, like we are open books.
16. We know nothing of hatred and enjoy the life.
17. We celebrate every event with hearts opened, silencers removed, faces covered with random color, jamming the roads, shouting, cars filled with music systems, trucks loaded with manchalay, dholls and dhamals etc.
18. We share everything with others, never say no.
19. We work too, only when its time to work.
20. We always study at night, attempt papers next morning and hope for A grades after.
