3D Building Exterior Render – Design Workflow
3D renders we see everyday are result of a series of different work phases. Sometimes it starts with a Sketch and sometimes a map. I am posting step by step details of a 3D Architectural render I did. It starts with an AutoCAD drawing of a building which I took into 3DsMAX for modeling, texturing, lighting, camera setting and so on.

I first discussed the project with the building designer and architect about his idea of development. Then I went ahead and used the Architectural design plan and elevation maps, did a lot of RnD on design elements and used some few images for references to model the building. The final image is set in a exterior setting.
