Enable Numeric Battery Percentage indicator in Ipod Touch

Since iOS 3.0 release there is an option in iPhone to enable numeric battery percentage indicator, however this option is not available in iPod Touch. If you want to enable this option in iPod Touch first you need to jailbreak your iPod, if your iPod is already jailbroken then you can follow the following steps.

As we know Android has already taken over iPhone sales in first quarter 2011. Yesterday, Google announced Android 2.3.4 update to their Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS which brings Video and Voice calling features to Gtalk for Android. You can make video calls to your family and friends right from your android phone over Wi-Fi or 3G Network to their compatible Android tablet or phone or Gtalk on computer.
Mac Users Vs Pc users – infographic

So far I had thought that Mac users are mostly showoffs as pc offers similar functionality for less the price, but hunch blog conducted a survey among their 388,315 users and cross-referenced their answers to highlight different aspects of a Mac person and a Pc person.
Some highlights of the survey are
- 52% of Mac users lives in a city.
- Large number of Mac users say that they frequently through parties.
- Mac users are more likely to see themselves as unique.
- Mac people are 21% more likely than Pc people to consider themselves computer-savy gearheads.

HTC Desire – Gingerbread vs Froyo Benchmark

While official Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for HTC Desire is not out yet and it may take couple of month before HTC starts rolling it out, xda member LeeDroid has released custom Gingerbread rom for HTC Desire with HTC Sense. Today, I installed this rom on my HTC Desire and so far its looks awesome, navigation is much more smoother then Froyo, GMT+6 bug for Pakistan is fixed, updated version of default software, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and FM are working fine. I’ve done some benchmarks to compare performance of this gingerbread rom with my previous Android 2.2 Froyo Vs Eclair benchmark.

Since 1981, NASA space shuttles have been rocketing from the Florida coast into Earth orbit. The five orbiters Columbia, Challenger, Discovery, Atlantis and Endeavour have flown more than 130 times, carrying over 350 people into space and travelling more than half a billion miles, more than enough to reach Jupiter. Designed to return to Earth and land like a giant glider, the shuttle was the world’s first reusable space vehicle. More than all of that, though, the shuttle program expanded the limits of human achievement and broadened our understanding of our world.
