  • Download Music Legally & Free

    Digg Digg

Many new social networks are connecting people in different ways, some tweet and some book our everyday faces of life.

This website Blip.fm play whatever music we want to Listen.

Now here is a way i figured out to download any song from blip.fm.

You need a few tools that all of us already have

    Firefox

    FlashGot

    Flash Get ( optional )

    An account at http://blip.fm

    & some taste for music

The whole process is actually 1 step. But i am explaining it just to make it more easy for everyone.

    1) Open Blip.fm, Login & Search whatever song you like.

    Blipfm1

    2) Click on the preview button to stream the song. ( or Blip it if you need to ).

    Blipfm2

    3) Once the song will start playing // Just notice the icon at the bottom right corner of your Firefox window that appears and starts blipping.

    Blipfm3

    4) Just click that and a window will appear with some links on it. Just select the link that ends in .mp3#. And click Ok.

    Blipfm4

    5) You just need to remove the # sign from the target URL field in Flash Get. FlashGet is totally optional and i use it because it has resuming capability.

    Blipfm5

    6) Happy Downloading / Copy to your iPod or XpressMusic or Walkman or even Classic cell phones to listen whenever where ever you want to.

    Blipfm6

Its nothing against Blip.fm or Bill Gates. Just for fun.

Blip don’t host files on their own server. So, they files are rendered from all over the internet. Quality is normal mp3 128\192 kbps.

“Legal”? Really? Just because it’s possible doesn’t make it legal. You can use exploits on most streaming services to obtain permanent copies of the songs.

Think about it this way, how do the “starving artists” earn a living from this? The site surely has a licensing agreement for live streaming, which probably does not cover permanent storage by their listeners.

    But it’s your choice.

Artists want people to listen to their music.

They earn everything from concerts and live performances these days. If I could go to a concert of my favorite artist, I would happily pay and go!
