AMD 6-core Opteron Demonstration

6-core opteron codenamed “Istanbul”, upgrade to teh “shanghai” – Socket F style and 45nm with 6M of L3 cache. To be introduced in “Second Half” of the current year. Systems supported: 2P,4P and 8P with HT3 capability, 2channel DDR2 memory per socket.
