Previously I shared a post on Calibrating Htc Desire Battery, but after upgrading to MIUI rom that method didn’t worked anymore and phone started to shutdown at 15% battery left, even after repeating several times. While searching for a solution on internet, I found following method that worked (thanks to xda forums).
This method can work for any rooted android device, all you have to do is to set correct full40 value depending on the charge capacity of your device’s battery.
FaceNiff for Android – Hack Facebook, Twitter sessions in seconds
June 6th, 2011 / No Comments » / by Faizan
You may know about FireSheep, the Firefox extension that used to hijack Facebook, Twitter sessions of users connected to an unsecured Wi-Fi Network. With recent success of Android, some developer has taken same concept of FireSheep to next level by creating an Android app. FaceNiff lets you hijack Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and more social network’s sessions of users connected to same Wi-Fi network with a tap of a thumb. It even works with secured (WEP, WPA or WPA2) Wi-Fi networks. All you need is a rooted and compatible Android Phone. Free version lets you hijack only three accounts and you can donate to buy unlock code. With my HTC Desire running MIUI rom, I was able to hijack Facebook account of my neighbor who uses my Wi-Fi network.
To protect your Facebook and Twitter profiles from being hijacked, you must secure your accounts using SSL encryption. Click here for information on how to secure your facebook account and here for information on securing your Twitter account.
