Buying a performing, balanced but budget Gaming PC has always been a challenge. No matter its 2001 (wink) or 2009. Decent performing (40+fps) yet not mighty expensive hardware does comes with alot of research and a base price point. So, we did both and stepped out of home with time spent in research and Rs. 50,000 in our pocket for CH|LL’s new desktop system.

Here is some eye-candy I’ve shot for the creative readers. Review & benchmarks will be posted very soon.

Played Test Drive Unlimited [1920x1080] with 8xAA and HDR enabled and it runs as smooth as juice. Environment : Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

p.s: Congrats CH|LL and have fun creating chaos in GTA4 and shifting gears in NFS:SHIFT.

Asustek has allocated engineers to develop an Android-based netbook by as early as the year end, Samson Hu, head of the Taipei-based company’s Eee PC business, said in an interview yesterday. Asustek hasn’t decided whether to proceed with a final product because the project is still under development, he said.

Google introduced Android in 2007 as a software system for phones. Android is based on Linux, an “open-source” operating system that’s free and developed by hundreds of engineers worldwide. Microsoft offers an operating system for handsets called Windows Mobile.

Wht actually happened tht nite:

I was damm sleeping, the total silence scene, thunderstorm outside, full time loadshedding… chill mahol [not u Chill] outside… i just heard PttAKkHH & woke up. examined everything and it was concluded tht Circuit breaker switched off coz’ of some loose electric problem [rain, u know .. it could be the bell or some unstable voltage]… powering on the circuit breaker, and went to the room for s0weet sleep. wht i saw was smoke behind the PC, & never got shocked, im no materialistic. no tension, and checked the LAN cable, completely burnt which screwed my mobo and the Mouse attached in the USB port right beside it.

What i have come up with the ONLY Solution against Unstable Volts in the LAN wire [coz’ of wet Switch {coz of Rain}] is to USE SAPARATE NIC @ PCI Slot.

All other Thingies attached are SAFE [CPU,VGA,RAMs etc..], Alhamdulillah, only the mobo & mouse attached residing @USB right beside the Effected LAN Port.
