    Digg Digg

Today me and B@D went to PTCL office to get new DSL connection after 3 days of disconnection from internet.  The building was more like Sona and less like an office of our Country’s biggest IP Network provider :D .  After checking our order status customer support lady directed us to meet someone on 1st floor after going through a narrow corridor (rahgali :p).  After discussing our matter with that guy he said that their ugly device will not sync that far away from exchange, so they cant give us 1mbps connection, we either get optic fiber connection or get the faulty service.  Because our line was still patched we needed termination letter which we didn’t had at that time so we’ve to come back again.

On our way home we discussed for other options and decided to get expensive WC 768K connection for 1.9K/month, so I ordered for connection and their representative came within 30 minutes to collect the money, they don’t even charge reconnection fee this time.   Hopefully we’ll get our internet connection working by tomorrow.

    Plan:

Use WC for now and apply for optic fiber connection which I think will take around a month to get installed. Then get PTCL 1m student package for 1.3K/month.  Lets see..
